Treasure Finder USA (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the Treasure Finder USA website (treasurefinderusa.com) and mobile/web application (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your first name, email address, and password.
Seller Listing Information: If you list a sale, we collect the sale title, description, address/location, dates and times, item categories, accepted payment methods, and photos you upload.
Buyer Preferences: your search interests/categories, search radius, and (optionally) a home address if you choose to search from a saved address rather than your current location.
Communications: If you contact us (via the Contact form or email), we collect the information you provide, including your name, email, phone number (if given), and message.
Waitlist Signup: If you sign up to be notified when the app launches, we collect your email address.
Information Collected Automatically
Location Information: If you choose to use your current location to search for sales, we collect your device’s location data for that purpose.
Usage Information: We may collect information about how you interact with the Service, such as sales viewed, saved, or visited, to improve the Service.
Device/Notification Information: If you enable push notifications, we collect a device token to deliver notifications to you.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Display sale listings to buyers and allow sellers to manage their listings
- Provide directions and route planning between sales you select
- Send you notifications about sales you’ve saved or shown interest in, if you’ve enabled notifications
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
- Notify you when the app becomes available, if you’ve joined our waitlist
- Improve and maintain the Service
- Bill sellers for listing fees, where applicable
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We share information with service providers who help us operate the Service, including:
- Supabase, for account and data storage
- OneSignal, for push notifications
- Resend, for email delivery
- Mapbox and Google Maps, for mapping, geocoding, and directions
- Our website and hosting providers (GoDaddy, Cloudflare)
Seller listing information (sale address, dates, description, photos, categories, and accepted payment methods) is, by the nature of the Service, shown publicly to buyers using the app, since the purpose of the Service is to help buyers find and attend your sale.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Treasure Finder USA, our users, or others.
Your Choices
- You may update or delete your account information at any time within the app.
- You may opt out of push notifications in your device settings or within the app.
- You may unsubscribe from waitlist or marketing emails at any time.
- You may contact us at hello@treasurefinderusa.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
Payments
Sellers may be charged a fee to list a sale, subject to our then-current pricing (which may include a free tier). Buyers are never charged to use the Service.
Treasure Finder USA is not involved in, and does not process, payments made between buyers and sellers for items purchased at sales. Any such payment (cash, Venmo, credit card, etc.) is a private transaction between the buyer and seller.
Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a new effective date.

Delete Your Account
If you have Treasure Finder USA installed: Open the app and sign in. Tap the menu icon. Go to My Account. Select “Delete Account” and confirm. Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted immediately — this cannot be undone.
If you no longer have the app installed: Email hello@treasurefinderusa.com from the email address associated with your account and request deletion. We will permanently delete your account and all associated data within 5 business days.
What gets deleted: Your profile information, saved addresses, account credentials, and any sales or listings associated with your account.
